Appreciation, thankfulness, has the ability to bring people together. That was true when our forebears, both native and pilgrim, gathered around this country’s first Thanksgiving table and it is true today. Thankfulness is a way of welcoming home, of appreciating what has been given to us, that makes us what we are, and also provides a promise of what we can become.
As a Hyde Park Community, we have so much for which to be grateful. With this heart come to the community table in this season of thankfulness as we not only share a meal as a community but as we underscore our appreciation for being a part of Hyde Park.
