HYDE PARK COMMUNITY CARES

Hyde Park Community Cares is an outreach that has been around for over 25 years. Throughout its history, it has had several names: Alternative Christmas, Adopt-A-Family and within the last couple of years, Community Cares. Yet, the purpose of the program has remained unchanged to provide help for families in need during the holiday season.

UMCHP supports Hyde Park Community Cares by providing gift cards to Stop & Shop for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, and we provide VISA gift cards to the parent(s) or guardian of children to shop for Christmas gifts.

There are several ways you may become a part of this outpouring of love that is very much appreciated by the receiving families.

• You may purchase and donate gift cards
• You may donate to  HP Community Cares Fund.
• And of course, when all is said and done, people need our prayers.
