JACK’S Program

“Just Act with Compassion and Kindness in Service”

In Memory of Jack Dockery

JACK'S Program is named after Jack Dockery a long time member of the UMC of Hyde Park who passed away in 2008. Those who knew Jack, knew that helping others was always a priority for him. With this in mind, we have established JACK’S Program, which stands for “Just Act with Compassion and Kindness in Service”, in memory of Jack Dockery.

JACK’S Program is an initiative of the Mission Commission of the UMC of Hyde Park. JACK’S Program is meant to assist homeowners with repairs or services that are needed around their home. A volunteer(s) capable of doing the job will provide all labor related services. Recipients are selected on a needs basis and the homeowners are responsible for all materials and supplies required. Recipients must personally own the home being worked on. At this time, all recipients must be members of the UMC of Hyde Park.

Applications are available on the bulletin board at the church. For more information, contact Gina Lacey.
