OUR COMMUNITY CARES

Our Community Cares is an outreach that has been around for over 25 years. Throughout its history, it has had several names: Alternative Christmas, Adopt-A-Family and within the last couple of years, Community Cares. Yet, the purpose of the program has remained unchanged to provide help for families in need during the holiday season.

We provide dinner for Thanksgiving and at Christmas, and we provide gifts for children and gift cards to Stop&Shop. 

There are several ways you may become a part of this outpouring of love that is very much appreciated by the receiving families.

• You may adopt a family which means you provide a family with gifts and or food.
• You may donate to our Holiday Fund.
• You may give of your time, using the donated money to go out and shop for a family, wrap gifts, help hand out and deliver gifts and food.
• And of course, when all is said and done, people need our prayers.
